Rounding out the quartet is bodhrán player Lala Mackey was born and raised in southeast Asia and moved to Colorado in 2016. After playing drums on cardboard boxes throughout her childhood, she got her first drum set in 2017 and learned every style of music she could find. With Irish being her favorite, Lala purchased her first bodhrán in 2021. She currently works as a full time drummer going wherever the music calls her.

Within Molly Higgins Band, a rich tapestry of influences converge to honor the heritage of traditional Celtic Music.
